First Friday Luncheon – May 5th

Join us this coming Friday, May 5th, after the noon Mass for our final potluck luncheon of the school year. Our Parish Director of Religious Education, Michael T. Barrett, will speak about religious education opportunities for the entire Parish during the upcoming year. Please bring a dish to share. Bernie May and Lorraine Golden will host the luncheon.

Answering A Call To Service

Our Director of Religious Education, Michael T. Barrett, would like to offer you a personal invitation to serve as a catechist in our Parish Religious Education Program. We will be offering several training opportunities throughout the summer, as we are currently in need of a few more adults to assist with our program for the new school year. Serving as a catechist allows you to share your talents, while giving you an Training sessions are scheduled in May, June, and July for those interested. If you would like more information about serving as a catechist or a catechist assistant, please contact the office.

Volunteers Needed For The Eucharistic Congress

The 2017 Eucharistic Congress comes at the beginning of the summer, just as your entire family is looking for quality and wholesome activities. Please prayerfully consider volunteering at the Congress on Friday, June 16th or Saturday, June 17th. The success of the Congress relies greatly on volunteers. Welcome Our Newest Members!

We would like to welcome our newest members, James & Jeanette Price, as well as their children Peyton and Liam, from Roanoke, Alabama.

Save The Date For VBS!

This year, Vacation Bible School will be July 17th-July 21st from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon each day. The cost for VBS this year will be $15 per child, but if you register before May 31st, the cost will be just $10 per child! We will have registration forms and an online sign ups available next weekend!

Fatima Centennial U.S. Tour for Peace

The tour of the world-famous International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima is a nationwide call to prayer and penance for peace in our nation and conversion of hearts. The tour will arrive at St. Peter’s on Monday, February 27th, with a welcoming Mass at 12:05pm, exposition of the statue from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, and Holy Rosaries at 1:15pm and 5:30pm. Mass Linen Ministry

The Mass Linen Ministry is looking for additional members to assist in laundering/ironing the corporals and purificators used during each Mass. KofC St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Party

On Saturday, March 11th, we will gather together in the Parish Hall after evening Mass to enjoy dinner, music, and special door prizes at the Knights of Columbus annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Party. This is always a fun night full of good food, fellowship, entertainment, and lots of laughs! Next weekend the Knights will begin to sell tickets after all Masses and again the weekend of March 4th/5th. Limited availability. Childcare will be provided. Ticket cost: Couple $25 / Individual $13.

Woman and Youth of the Year

You are invited to join the CCW for the Recognition Day Reception on Sunday, February 26th in the Parish Hall between the Masses as we honor our two recipients of the St. Peter’s Woman and Youth of the Year. Fran Buchino is our Woman of the Year, and Grace Summers is our Youth of the Year. On Saturday, February 25th at 10:00 am, Fran and Grace will be honored at the annual AACCW Recognition Day Mass at Holy Spirit Parish in Atlanta with Archbishop Gregory.
